A self-made man from a small town in Taiwan, Jack Wu had turned himself into a legendary figure in Taiwan’s hospitality industry with the birth of Spring Park International Co., Ltd. Before co-founding the company with his business partner Tatsuyuki Matsumoto, Wu was a sales wizard dealing with produces ranging from office equipments to automobiles. But even back then, he always felt his strong passion for hotels.

In 1998, Wu met Matsumoto, who also shared the same passion and visions for hotels. After three years of collaboration, in 2001, they decided to found a Taiwan based international hotel management company known as Spring Park International Co., Ltd. Together with his partner, Wu has been credited as a dynamic and innovative hotelier who again and again wows the market with the unique Spring Park products and concepts. Wu’s earlier hotel creations included a collection of small business hotels in Taiwan and the Spring City Resort Taipei.
